As much as I love talking about myself (note the sarcasm), this is going to be brief.
I was born and raised in London, Ontario, Canada. Having graduated from London District Christian Secondary School, I moved on to Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI to pursue my undergraduate studies. At Calvin I double majored in Electrical and Computer Engineering as well as French, and I graduated in 2008.
After graduation, I worked for a year at Burke E. Porter Machinery in Grand Rapids, MI. However, the tanking automotive industry and a weakening economy soon caught up with me (and the rest of Michigan), and I found myself laid off. Thankfully, I found another job: currently I'm happily employed as a Software Engineer at SpinDance, Inc., in Holland, MI.
My interests include a wide range of things, including but not limited to: music, software design, travel, languages (especially French), reading, downhill skiing, playing guitar, grammar, web development, current events, food, and Trivial Pursuit. Oh, and let's not forget, being an engi-nerd.
When it comes to software, I'm a big fan of open-source. Most of the time I'm running Mint and Firefox, and this website is hosted on a LAMP server. Also, Wikipedia makes my day.
Anyway, enough self-aggrandization. If you've got questions, don't hesitate to get in touch. I hope you enjoy the site!
